Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The mother of her child, Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam as well, and she has Chinese origin, and her dad, Winston Barrett Munn, is from a family with deep roots in the American South. Olivia's parents divorced at the age of 2. Her family consisted of her mother, who served in the United States Air Force, and also her stepfather. They left Oklahoma and moved to several places, but she lived the majority of her life in Tokyo. At this point she performed in several local theatre productions. Later, she became a model for the Japanese fashion business. Olivia relocated to Los Angeles when her family eventually came back in the United States to follow her aspirations of becoming an actress. She started her acting career in a tiny character. It was then that her acting career began to take off after she was cast as Mily Acuna in the Hawaii-lensed television series Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007 she portrayed Rob Schneider's receptionist. The show's host is "The Daily Nut", "Formula D" and "The Formula D Podcasts" on G4. She loves surfing and has been practising since watching the tv show Beyond the Break (2006). The black belt she holds is the martial art of taekwondo. Her mother got married when she was only two years old, and was an Air Force officer. She was raised primarily in Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather was a member. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she was a journalism major with minors of Japanese and dramatic art.
